Welcome to Mira Loma Spanish Honors Society!

Welcome to the Mira Loma Pancho Villa Chapter of the Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica! We are an honor society of high school students enrolled in Spanish, sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese. Our chapter has been active for over 10 years in the Sacramento area, dedicated to promoting interest in the study of the Spanish language, advancing Hispanic culture and history, as well as, empowering Latinx individuals in our community.

In the past, we have organized school-wide events, celebrating el Día de los Muertos, La Semana Santa, and Quinceañeras. We also collected and donated essential materials for Latin American communities, fundraised for many local Hispanic organizations , and led Spanish immersion programs.

This year, our Pancho Villa chapter will do as much as we can amidst the global pandemic, and we hope you join us in our efforts to continue the legacy of Spanish excellence.

¡Todos a Una!
